Plumbing

This residential plumbing project involved the replacement of a failed terracotta house trap and installation of a new wash tub, including new water-supply and drainage connections.

The existing concrete floor was opened to access and remove the deteriorated house trap. The new installation incorporated ABS drainage piping and a P-trap, connecting the wash tub to the home’s existing drainage system.

The water-supply work included installation of the wash tub faucet, supply valves, soldered copper piping, and a ball-valve shutoff to allow the fixture to be isolated for future service and maintenance.

After completing the installation, the plumbing system was tested for leaks, proper drainage, and water flow to verify reliable operation. The work area was then restored by pouring new concrete over the completed installation.

The project required working with multiple plumbing materials and systems while adapting the new installation to existing residential infrastructure and conditions.
