In the early 2000s, I became deeply involved in the transition from traditional analog CCTV to IP-based video surveillance. Advances in networking and Internet connectivity brought new capabilities in remote access, scalability, system integration, and higher-resolution video.
I designed, sold, installed, configured, and maintained hundreds of surveillance systems, from residential installations to complex commercial and government deployments. My experience also included presenting solutions to school boards and local government representatives, developing proposals, and negotiating bids and procurement.
Each project involved more than installing cameras. I assessed the environment, planned coverage, selected equipment, designed the system, completed the installation and configuration, and provided ongoing maintenance and support.
The photographs in this section highlight selected installations and the hands-on experience behind them. Written references from clients provide additional documentation of the quality and reliability of my work.
